Strong knowledge of Java programming language (Java 7 or higher)
Excellent experience with RAD tools (e.g. Eclipse), build tools (e.g. ANT), version control systems, unit testing tools
Excellent knowledge of the following Java libraries/technologies: generics, threading, networking (sockets, TCP/IP), collections/concurrent collections, io/nio, JDBC, log4j, JMX, XML
Hands on experience with multi-threading programming, thread pools, socket programming, JDBC connection pools is a must
Good understanding of JDBC drivers (type 2 and 4) is a big plus
Proficient with the following operating systems: Windows, Solaris, AIX or other UNIX OS.
Good understanding of relational databases and SQL (especially, Oracle and DB2 UDB )
Excellent verbal and written skills (using English)
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse groups of individuals and the ability to maintain effective work relationships are desired
The candidate must be able to work under pressure with limited time
Please note that hands on experience with multi-threading programming, thread pools, socket programming, JDBC connection pools is a must.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
